It all happened around that table.
Bridge games: John would leap from 2 clubs to 7 no-trump and would sometimes beat it! Just to prove a point.
Monday Nights and loads of laughs. Late Night discussions a plenty over Augsburger or Warthog Beer - another of John's own creations. I remember peering at blueprints for Loco Joe's there. I remember John reading the Hobbit or Jungle Book to us and then tickling the heck out of us at that table.
In fact, the very first time I met John was sitting right there.
