In Wichita, Kansas, on 25th March, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer, John, dearly loved son of the late David and Violet, affectionate and adored brother of Vivienne, Michael, Audrey (deceased), Gilbert, James, Dorothy and Graham, loving husband of Shirley (USA).

Thank you for this Vivienne. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had your brother for a step-father. We all dearly loved Davy and Violet as well. I will always consider all of John's family a part of my own. It is my wish that we'll all stay connected in some way. You are all welcome at my house in Hollywood at anytime.
